  • Step 1
    Since you don’t know the exact cause of this error, it is imperative to back-up your important data. Now check your System hardware components like graphic card, system memory, etc.
  • Step 2
    Now you may scan for corrupted files by using the Windows built-in system file checker   (sfc) command.
    Open PowerShell Admin
    Type sfc /scannow and enter to start the scan
  • Step 3
    It’s time to make use of chkdsk utility by scanning the system drive to find errors.
    Open PowerShell Admin
    Type chkdsk /r and later type Y to confirm the scan
  • Step 4
    If issue persists even after following the 3 steps, then you may consider checking for Windows updates and outdated drivers.
    Settings > Update & Security > Download/Download and Install
  • Step 5
    If you have tried all the other options, then Reset or Re-installation of Windows 10 is the best option.
    Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Get started

Once you click on ‘Get started’, you will get an option to keep files or remove everything.
